About Us

 

Shannon Tucker is a Certified Professional Trainer and owner of Synergy K9 Training, LLC. Shannon graduated from the internationally renowned National K-9 School for Dog Trainers. He completed the Master Trainer Course with endorsements in Basic and Advanced Obedience, Puppy Development, Behavior Modification, Scent Detection, Tracking and Trailing, and Retrieval.

Shannon is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), National K-9 Dog Trainers Association, and is an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator. For more information on these organizations, please click the icons below.

Shannon's family includes four dogs, most of which were found as strays. They are: Eli (pit bull), Boone (boxer mix), Trudy (corgi mix), and Nikita (pit bull/boxer mix). They enjoy many activities together including camping, hiking, canoeing, and traveling.

Shannon has been involved in fostering stray and abandoned dogs and has found that in many cases dogs are relinquished by their owners due to obedience or behavioral issues. Shannon is dedicated to helping dogs become more adoptable to find lasting homes, and to assisting owners and their pets to attain a trusting, harmonious relationship.
